Krishi Rasayan Galwan Profenofos 40% + Fenpyroximate 2.5% EC Insecticide-Acaricide

Galwan combines an organophosphate insecticide with a mite complex-I inhibitor. Its current manufacturer page supports chilli use against thrips, mites and fruit borer.

Use note: Use 1,000 ml/ha in 500 L water/ha on chilli. Rice, brinjal and cotton formulation expansions are not added without a current Galwan leaflet.

Mode of Action

Profenofos inhibits acetylcholinesterase (IRAC 1B). Fenpyroximate inhibits mitochondrial complex-I electron transport (IRAC 21A). Rotate later treatments away from both groups.

Application Guide

• Apply with a calibrated knapsack sprayer when labelled pests first appear.
• Cover both leaf surfaces and the internal canopy.
• Do not add rice, brinjal or cotton without the current Galwan leaflet.
