Use note: Apply the standalone Atrazine treatment within three days after sowing or planting on moist soil. Bayer's separate Laudis programme is a maize tank mix and is not Foost's universal dose.

Mode of Action

Atrazine inhibits photosystem II at the D1 Ser264 binding site (HRAC Group 5). Susceptible weeds absorb it from the soil as they germinate. Rotate weed programmes and integrate non-chemical measures to reduce selection pressure.

Application Guide

• Apply once as an even pre-emergence spray on moist soil with a flat-fan or flood-jet nozzle.
• For Bayer's separate maize programme, the published tank mix is Laudis 115 ml + Foost 400 g + Activator 400 ml per acre in 200 L water at 2–4-leaf weeds; do not apply that as a standalone or sugarcane rate.
• Avoid overlap, drift and use on unlisted crops.
