SWAL Dryphosate Herbicide Overview

SWAL Dryphosate contains Glyphosate 41% SL. It is a systemic, non-selective foliar herbicide for directed control of labelled weeds in mature tea. Because it injures green plant tissue, spray placement and drift control are critical.

Use note: Verified crop use is mature tea only. Apply as a shielded/directed spray to actively growing weeds at 0.8–1.2 L/acre in 180 L water/acre. Do not contact tea leaves, shoots, green bark or roots exposed above the soil.

How Dryphosate Works

Glyphosate is absorbed through actively growing green weed foliage and moves to meristems and underground tissues. It inhibits EPSPS, preventing formation of essential aromatic amino acids. Growth stops, followed by gradual yellowing and death.

• Spray actively growing weeds with sufficient healthy leaf area; avoid drought-stressed or dusty foliage.
