Crystal Bango is a selective post-emergence herbicide containing Quizalofop-Ethyl 10% EC. Its verified Indian use is limited to soybean for the control of the specific grassy weeds listed on the label.

Bango is a systemic grass herbicide. The spray is taken up by susceptible grasses and acts at their growing tissues. Crystal recommends 150–180 ml per acre and states that the product is rainfast after four hours. The regulatory hectare recommendation is 375–450 ml in 300–500 L water.

Use-scope warning: do not extend this 10% EC product to cotton, groundnut, pulses, paddy, wheat or another crop merely because a different quizalofop formulation may have another registration. Bango is not registered here for broadleaf weeds or sedges. Use only on soybean and the listed grass weeds.

Application Best Practices

• Scout first: confirm that the dominant weeds are registered grasses. Bango does not replace control measures for broadleaf weeds or sedges.
• Prepare the emulsion: add the measured herbicide slowly to clean water and stir thoroughly until it is properly emulsified.
• Use the specified equipment: apply with a knapsack sprayer fitted with a flat-fan nozzle for uniform weed-foliage coverage.
• Protect nearby grass crops: prevent spray drift onto rice, maize, wheat, sorghum or other desirable grasses.
• No inferred mixtures: this page does not recommend combining Bango with another herbicide, pesticide, fertiliser or adjuvant. Related and rotation products are separate alternatives.

Safety and Storage

The formulation label warns that Quizalofop-Ethyl 10% EC is moderately toxic to fish. Prevent drift, runoff, surplus spray and equipment washings from entering ponds, canals or aquaculture areas. Avoid inhalation and contact with skin or eyes. Do not handle with bare hands; wear rubber gloves, a face mask and full protective clothing as directed.
